Shipping Clerk

Location: City of Industry, CA

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: 20+ depending on experience

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preparing and processing outgoing shipments, verifying incoming and outgoing orders, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring products are packaged accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
  • Package, label, and prepare products for shipment.
  • Determine appropriate shipping methods and coordinate carrier services.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
  • Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of shipping supplies and materials.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience.
  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • Experience with inventory, database, and shipping software.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 standards is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
